A series of work completed for my finals on my BA Photography degree.
Series Description:
Throughout this time I have developed my skills and processes at two main locations: Dartmoor National Park, and the South Devon Coast. The main reason for my attachment to these two particular locations stems from time spent at each as a child, which directly links into this study. The series of images I have producing takes memories and experiences from my own childhood. Each image consists of a picturesque landscape incorporating a lost toy. The two combined seek to convey emotions that I recall from my childhood in a universal manner. Each viewer, from looking at the toy, will be brought back to an aspect of their own childhood, identifying to the scene according to their own past experiences.

Now, this series is really interesting.
I surely like the idea.
But when it comes to looking at the pictures... Well.
Some might say that the toys are "in focus."
But I think they are just imposing on the viewer.
I think they are ruining the entire composition by just being oh so imposing.
Which is bad, because as I already said, I really like the idea.
What else can I say - one can definitely recognize it's for a BA degree...
I still kinda like the one with the teddy bear, though.
